CB Ambassador | Maria @thatgirlwiththebob

Here at Claudia Bradby we love connecting with people who inspire us. Our Claudia Bradby ambassadors are from all walks of life and are passionate about what they do.

This month we were delighted to work with Maria @thatgirlwiththebob who worked with her friend, and fellow CB Ambassador, Carole to style up two of our designs in both silver and gold.

We've long admired Maria's effortlessly cool style, her love of bright colours and of-course that famous bob! Maria creates fantastic content around 'chic, simple styling and beauty with some rock chic edge' and has even started a series with @CaroleMBeauty called 'Apple and Pears' where they delve into how to dress for different body types.

We took the chance to catch up with Maria, and to find out a little bit more about why she chose our gold designs, and how she feels about Claudia Bradby jewellery.

    1. What do you think makes Claudia Bradby pearls so unique?

I love that the pearls used in Claudia Bradby’s designs are hand selected so feel completely unique. The designs are also timeless classics, updated with a contemporary edge, that make them as perfect for daytime styling as well as for a special evening out.

    2. What made you pick Claudia Bradby pearls?

The Sleek City Pearl and Gold Chain Necklace caught my eye straight away with the half and half design. I love that you can wear it with the pearls at the front or in a half and half design to show off the gorgeous chain too. I recently wore it with a sundress and it completely lifted the look. I also picked the Biography Pearl Gold Hoop Earrings as I love their versatility – you can remove the pearl if you’d prefer a simple hoop earring or add it for an elevated look and they work perfectly stacked with other pieces.

    3. If you were going to gift Claudia Bradby pearls, who would you gift them to and why?

I’d gift the silver layering bracelets to my daughters as the designs are timeless and will last a lifetime. They’re pieces that they can wear now and as they grow older and their styles change.

    4. What made you chose your gold pieces over silver?

I chose gold because I have warmer undertones to my skin tone so find it suits my complexion better and I love that gold jewellery adds the perfect bit of glamour to every look.

"We picked the Sleek City Pearl Necklace and Biography Hoop Earrings. Both designs are so versatile - we loved that the pearls can easily be removed from the hoop earrings for a classic hoop that can then be layered.

I styled the necklace with a Bardot top for the daytime for a classic chic French girl look. The neckline really lets the necklace be the star of the show and I kept the hoops simple for this look, removing the pearl. The pearl necklace works so well with this neckline drawing the eye up - perfect for pears!

For the evening I put the pearls back on to the hoops to elevate the look which works well with my red dress. I love how the square neckline really shows the necklace off beautifully and I matched the gold jewellery with my heels to bring the look together."
